Important information
In connection with check-in, we will reserve an amount of 1500 SEK as a guarantee in addition to the amount you received in the booking confirmation. All or part of the guarantee amount will be released within 3-5 banking days depending on whether the amount has been used.
The Lamp Hotel has the right to demand compensation from the guest or the booker for damaged furnishings, as well as compensation for extra cleaning costs and sanitation caused by the guest during the stay. The Lamp Hotel also has the right to reject guests from the hotel who behave disruptively, violently or do not follow the rules that apply to The Lamp Hotel.
A guest who has been rejected has no right to compensation or refund of their stay.
Centrally located hotel
The Lamp Hotel is located in the heart of Norrköping city centre with all the amenities that come with it. Our main street, Drottninggatan, is bustling with pedestrian traffic and offers a wide range of restaurants. Norrköping's charming tram also runs here.
Some of our hotel rooms face Drottninggatan. We hope you enjoy this pulse! In The Lamp Restaurant we offer good drinks and a nice atmosphere, which may cause noise in some hotel rooms.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We do not accept cash as payment either at the hotel, in our spa or in the restaurant. When you visit us, it is possible to pay by debit card or via the Swish app.
Check-in at the hotel is at the earliest at 3:00 PM. You can of course check in later, but please note that the reception closes at 10:00 PM. We reserve the right to cancel rooms where you have not contacted the reception before 6:00 PM. If you arrive before 3:00 PM, you are welcome to leave your bags in our luggage room.
You can keep your room until 11:00 AM.
We always appreciate knowing in advance what time you expect to check in, especially if you expect to arrive after reception opening hours. Arrivals after 10:00 PM must always be notified in advance to the reception to guarantee your room for the evening and to receive codes for self-check in. We reserve the right to cancel rooms where you have not contacted the reception before 6:00 PM.
Opposite the hotel is a parking garage, M-Park. A 24-hour ticket for the garage costs 195 SEK. You can buy this at the hotel reception.
In The Lamp Spa we have a large pool, a smaller hot pool, a sauna, a steam room and an ice room. We also have a fantastic spa lounge where you can enjoy the environment and order something nice to drink. For hotel guests it costs 695 SEK per person to visit our spa. The price includes 4 hours of entrance to the relaxation area and a spa kit with skin care products from BABOR. Entrance to the spa can only be purchased upon arrival at the hotel, subject to availability.
We highly recommend our hotel and spa packages to guarantee a spot. See what different packages we have here .In our spa we have an age limit of 16. This applies regardless of whether the visit is accompanied by a guardian.
In some rooms it is possible to add an extra bed and/or cot.

Cancellations must be made by 6:00 PM the day before arrival to avoid being charged for the first night.
If you have booked an accommodation and spa package, cancellation must be made no later than 6:00 PM two days before arrival to avoid being charged for the first night. Please note! For group bookings, different cancellation policies apply!At the time of booking, you have the option to secure your stay with our cancellation protection. With this cancellation protection, you have the right to cancel your spa package or accommodation on the day of arrival no later than 12:00 without a late cancellation fee due to unforeseen events such as illness.
Important to note is that the cost of the cancellation protection must be paid at the time of booking to be valid and is non-refundable. An unpaid cancellation protection is NOT valid. Price 395 SEK/room.If you wish to eat in our restaurant during your stay, you are required to pre-book a table to be guaranteed a seat. We have several dog-friendly rooms! Please contact the reception when you book and we will direct you to the correct room type. For dogs in the room we charge a fee of 350 SEK per stay. The price applies to up to two dogs.
The dog is allowed in the lobby, not in the restaurant or in our spa area! During the summer, dogs are welcome in certain parts of our outdoor seating area.The Lamp Hotel is a non-smoking hotel! This includes all rooms as well as our courtyard FIVE.
All our rooms and public areas are equipped with smoke detectors and fire alarms to ensure your stay with us is safe. If you smoke in the room, you will be required to pay the cost of cleaning (4,500 SEK) and for causing a call out to the fire department (10,000 SEK).We offer free Wi-Fi throughout our facility.
Yes, we sell gift cards that you can buy from us on site or digitally. Our gift cards are valid throughout The Lamp – i.e. hotel, spa and restaurant as well as The Knife Restaurant. No open purchase or exchange rights on gift cards.
